Our boys at Arbour lost on Penalties against Burdett FC, Azad Hussain making his debut in the summer league missing a penalty in the game finished the Job off during the penalty shootuout missing again on sudden death. I'm sure the manager Rashid will think twich about letting Azad take any furthe penalties....

Beaumont and Arbour Both draw the league Bangla games. Arbour coming from a goal down to draw against Champions Newark FC and Beaumont played out a 0-0 draw with Mammadan. Although Mammadan dominated play in the first half and had good goal scoring oppurtunites Beaumont could have taken all 3 points at the end when Substitute Dedar's Shot was blocked by a Mammadan Defender inside the box, penalty appeal was turned away as the referee deemed the handball was accidental.

28th April 2010:

With the Election round the corner the buzz around Tower Hamlets is all revolved around the council and general election. So who are we supporting? These are the following council elect we are supporting:

Cllr Helal Abbas (Labour) ) from Spitalfields and Banglatown. Cllr Helal Abbas has been a long term friend of our organisation and a well respected councilor of Tower Hamlets and previous leader of the council.  We all have to ensure that our friends/relatives in this area go out and vote for him, his ballot Number is 1 (ONE).

Mr Ahad Ali of the Respect party is the older brother of Rashid Ali of Beaumont. Member of our family we have to spread the word round. Ahad Ali has worked in the community for many years and we hope and support him in his efforts on becoming a councillor in Tower Hamlets. Let's get people voting. His ballot number is 4 (FOUR). These are the Banglatown and Spitalfields Candidates we are rooting for.

Cllr Abdal Ullah (Labour) a old friend of our organisation has done well in the area and we are here to ensure that his work continues in the Stepney and St Dunstan area. Cllr Ullah started the SNT Cup tournament with Beaumont in 2006 and has always offered a helping hand to our organisation. Cllr Ullah has always taken a great intrest in local football and we need Councillors like Abdal on the Council of Tower Hamlets. He is going up for election from our Ward Stepney and St Dunstan and like in 2006 we have to all get out and get voting for him, take your friends and families along with you to the polling stations. Cllr Abdal Ullah's ballot number is 15.

With Britain guaranteed it's first British Bangladeshi MP this election who do we want to see succeed and get into the House of Parliament. No doubt...Mr Zakir Khan (Conservative Party) Zakir Bai a very close friend of our organisation and well wisher of our club has been working in the community for years. Managed some of the top local football teams inclusing Sporting Bengals United FC. Zakir Khan does not need a introduction in our club a very respected individual who has always worked closely with local organisations including ourselved over the last decade. Mr Zakir Khan is the MP Candidate for Conservative Party in the Bethnal Green and Bow Area. We have a duty and commitment to Zak Bai to ensure we do all we can to get our friends/families voting for him. His Ballot number is 6 (SIX). Make your vote count get Voting for Zakir Khan.

As from the above you can all see we are not Supporting any Party we are Supporting the above Individuals who are friends of organisation. We are not politically involved with any parties or individuals and all the above statements are of the clubs and not the candidates.

Trailing 3-1 at half time with some poor refering decision to allow two of the Bromley goals to stand when clearly the Bromley Centre Forwards were standing in a offside position. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SUMMER LEAGUE CUP WINNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beaumont 3-1 Shadwell

Summer League Cup Winners 09

After a long wait we have finally got our hands on the Summer League Cup. We started the game well and Yasser was a constant threat for the Shadwell defence and it was his powerful shot that was saved into the path of Bari for him to get the first goal, Yasser could have scored on the 30th Minute mark when his powerful shot hit the post and somehow stayed out. Shadwell started to come into the game at that point and had good possesion of the ball but failed to convert possesion into goalscoring chances. Anton then hit a 30 yard free kick into the top corner to give Beaumont the 2-0 lead. Second half and shadwell started the stronger side and with 15 minutes remaining they got the reward Ben scoring to give them a lifeline. Ben should have equalised with 8 minutes remaining beating the offside trap and going round Beaumont keeper Jason but he delayed his shot on goal and Mash managed to put his tackle in. Beaumont were always going to be a threaton the counter attack with the pace upfront and another free kick went goal bound for Beaumont from Yasser, keeper Helal saved it into the path of Shofie for him to get Beaumont's third. Polash could have scored another for beaumont into injury time but Helal was upto the task. First appearance in the summer league cup final ended in victory for us.

Line Up: Jason, Aaron, Sami, Liton, Mash, Dobir, Adiur, Bari, Yasser, Anton and Sadik

Subs: Polash (replaced Liton), Shofie (Replaced Sadik) Justin (Replaced Anton) and Aminul (Replaced Yasser)

Beaumont 2-1 Westferry

Got off to a winning start in the ILFL Season against Westferry, the boys started the game very slow and gave away a goal early in the half. The goal got our boys going and we started to create couple of good chances and was soon rewarded with the equaliser Sadikur Rahman getting his season going with the goal. We should have taken the lead with number of missed chances and level at the break. Second half and we missed a number of good chances and our defence kept the Westferry side out of our goal, a blow as keeper Shumon had to be substituted at the break with a twisted ankle, Liton had to cover and get in Goal. Chances came and went until the last minute of the game when Danny headded home the winner. A good second half performance got us the 3 points.

Line Up: Shumon, Liton, Abidur, Repon, Gulzar, Dobir, Mash, Rahat, Danny, Shiplu, Sadikur   Subs Used: Zumon, Arif and Akol

12th July 2009

Beaumont beat Stepney by a single goal scored by Justin in the first half, we dominated play for majority of the game and deserved the 3 points. Yasser made a impact when he came of the bench at half time but failed to add to his seasons tally. Beaumont finished in 3rd place this season and have the cup final to look forward to.

Weldone to all our boys who play for Arbour Youth on your great escape, only a win would secure premiership status, 0-0 at half time. Arbour came out firing in the second half and took a 3-0 lead within 15 minutes, Abohani refused to give up and crawled their way back to 3-2 with 5 minute remaining, Daniel Smith then restored a 2 goal cushion before Abohani pulled another back with a minute remaining on the clock. Arbour held on to the lead and their premier league status.

Congratulations to Newark on winning the league Championship!

BEAUMONT IN THE SUMMER LEAGUE CUP FINAL

Beaumont beat Ponders End by a single goal in the second half, Abidur's shot was deflected into Shofie's path for him to score the only goal of the game. Ponders piled the pressure on the Beaumont defence after going a goal down and were unlucky not to equalise. A fantastic performance from Shumon in goal helped Beaumont keep the clean sheet!

Beaumont went a goal down against SYA in the 17th Minute but Aaron soon restored order as Polash's corner was headed in by Aaron. Beamont could have taken the lead with Bari and Sami coming close but failing to convert; SYA caused a scare when their centre forward beat the offside trap but dragging his shot wide of the post. Into extra time and Justin came close when his volley was saved by the SYA keeper, however with only 2 minutes left on the clock before penalties Anton squared the ball to Dobir who shot from outside the box, firing a low drive passed the SYA keeper. Beaumont held on to reach the cup final for the second time, previously in 2005!

7th June 2009!

Beaumont take all 3 points against Shadwell. Shadwell looked hungry from the start and knocked the ball around well, creating half chances but failing to capitalise. The breakthrough came against the run of play when a route one ball from Shumon was flicked on by Dobir into Dominic's path who made no mistake and slotted home Beaumont's first. Beaumont could have doubled the lead but missed opportunities went passed, and then Shadwell were awarded a VERY controversial penalty to level the tie at half time. Yasser came on in the second half and immediatly made a impact but it was Justin and Polash who linked up well with Anton, for him to score his second of the season. With 10 minutes remaining Shadwell equalised from a well taken free kick. Beaumont piled on the pressure late in the game and Dominic's free kick was headed in by Dobir for Beaumont's third of the game and his second of the season.

All in all a very good performance and a deserved three points in the bag. Man of the match performance from Sami at right back who made some very crucial tackes to limit Shadwell's chances. Mash played well again at Center back with Abidur.

Next week Cup!

31st May 2009!
